Protoiereul Ioan Dăncilă, un preot militar astăzi aproape uitat: contribuții parțiale la o bio-bibliografie

Abstract: The presence and role of military priest among the armed forces were highly beneficial. Military priests did more than just perform religious services. They were involved in the social activities of officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers, in the inspection of armament, living conditions, hygiene, food and medical conditions in field or garrison hospitals. At the same time, a military priest was an educational, moral, and cultural model for both the troops and the officers among which he lived and worked. This was also the case of Captain Ioan Dăncilă, who was recruited in the Austro-Hungarian Imperial Army and later in Greater Romania’s Army.

Considerații privind Asociațiunea Transilvană în serviciul pedagogiei sociale și al educației adulților între 1931-1946/1947 (I)

Abstract: Seen by the Romanian intellectuals in Transylvania as a means of promoting culture and education among the people, social pedagogy was a major desideratum of the Transylvanian Association – the cultural and national institution of Sibiu – both in the inter-war decades and after that, until 1947-1948. Social pedagogy aimed at forming desirable citizens useful for the society. Education was promoted from three perspectives: it should have a pronounced economic and sanitary char-acter; it should be moral, civic and citizen-oriented and it should be rooted in culture.

Abstract: Dumitru Cruțiu Delasaliște (1884-1934) was a well-known publicist and culture man from Constanța, and as it results from the specific particle attached to his name, we allow ourselves to issue the opinion that D. Cruțiu Delasaliște was probably of Salish origin. In fact, in this sense, the researcher of Constanţa Enache Puiu, who remarked in one of his works, that the future publicist of Constanta was born in Săliștea Sibiului, Sibiu county in 1884, from where, as well as many other dissatisfied Transylvanians. of Austro-Hungarian rule, especially after the signing of Dualism from Buda in 1867 saw the need to cross the mountains in the Old Kingdom, and our author and publicist settled with the family in the city on the Black Sea shore in 1894. The study of here is a presentation of some of his writings that appeared in periodicals from Arad and Constanța between 1904-1934. At the same time, we must not forget his involvement in the formation of a syndicate of journalists from Constanţa, respectively his activity as secretary in the service of the Regional "Astra Dobrogeană".

He was invested in 1901 by Transylvanian Metropolitan and Archibishop of Sibiu Ioan Metianu in the confessional high dignity of Alba Iulia's dean for romanians orthodox confession in the Alba Comitee. In its new quality, it was remarked both in pastoral and missionary terms and act, contributing for a quarter of a century to the construction of the Romanian nation in the county of Alba and as a cultural manager and vector of the Romanian consciousness in Alba Iulia as director of the local structure of the Association: The Alba Iulia of Astra Divide between 1905-1923. We appreciate that every day of his life in Alba Iulia and the Stone Country of the Apuseni Mountains was a mission day that the dean-director assumed, both at religious and cultural level.
